Lauren Alaina became an instant favorite among the American Idol competitors of Season Ten. Lauren Alaina is known as a unique person and for her commitment to God. Lauren is a native of Georgia in and was raised in Georgia, Rossville. Her cousin's cancerous brain diagnosis convinced Lauren to pursue her dream of becoming a singer.
