Jeanie Marie Buss has been an American Entrepreneur for more than twenty years. she is currently president as well as the sole owner of the Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. Buss, a Californian native has an extremely wealthy family background. Jerry Buss, her father was a successful entrepreneur in real estate who was the owner of Lakers Entertainment and Sports. Her feelings of abandonment were heightened when her parents separated in the year 1972. At 19 years old, she began working for the family business as the general manager of the Los Angeles Strings professional tennis team. Later, she founded the Los Angeles Blades, a professional team of roller hockey. She was head of the Great Western Forum before assuming the duties of the vice president of the Lakers.
