Nancy Wilson is a Grammy Award winning jazz singer. Nancy Wilson was born on 20th February 1937 in the city of Chillicothe, Ohio to Olden Wilson, who was employed at the ironworks as well as Lillian Ryan, a former domestic worker. Nancy Wilson was only child of six. Nancy grew up listening to the records of her father and his love for music. By the age of four, Nancy was aware that she wanted to be an artist. She discovered her talent for music through participating in choirs of the church. In high school, she appeared regularly on Skyline Melodies. In just a few months, she was offered a gig singing in The Blue Morocco Night Club on Boston Road in The Bronx the place where her agent heard her voice and agreed to sign her.
