Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine has a unique style that blends R&B with gospel, soul music and R&B. The singer's career has taken her across Broadway to European concerts and festivals and even to her participation in the Democratic National Convention. Sunshine's given title is Denise White. Though she lives in Atlanta but she is from Chester Pennsylvania where she began music by performing as well as playing the piano at the church. She studied at Spellman College and began to learn the R&B style of Atlanta. The Fighting Temptations The single featuring her voice,"Stalk You a House 12, was released only in Japan. The song has been remixed many times, and it is a mainstay of her live shows. Her voice has also been a part of vocals for The Fighting Temptations' soundtrack. She was the main keyboardist at Tyler Perry's stage production Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday was the Grammy and Tony Award winner who approached her in 2007 about serving as the director of chorus for Dreamgirls which was a stage production in Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine became famous throughout the four performances during the 2008. Democratic National Convention. Sunshine sang during the 2009 Obama Inauguration.
